In "Parallel Thrills", the picture conveys a deeper meaning symbolizing the harmony of movement and stillness. The reflective nature of water represents calmness and stillness, while skateboarding is a dynamic sport full of movement. Also, when we look at the reflection instead of the actual action taking place, the picture creates an interesting deception, a questioning of what is real and what is not. In "Parallel Thrills", the picture conveys a deeper meaning symbolizing the harmony of movement and stillness. “The Kid and the ATM”, 2023
Taken in Los Angeles, the kid is holding a trash bag and cruising around the streets of a neighborhood. Right next to him, the ATM, labeled "Electronic benefit transfer (EBT)", which is an electronic system that allows state welfare departments to issue benefits, speaks about the harsh reality of the economic status in low-income communities. At such a young age, the kid has to step foot into society and make a living, an age where they should be in school, and receive proper education.

”Cornered by the Shadow”, 2023
The photo conveys a sense of playfulness and isolation as the subject stands alone in the corner of the sunlight, with darkness looming just one step away. The framing of the picture resonates deeply with my own life, where I often find myself teetering on the edge of discomfort. Similar to the subject in the picture, I derive enjoyment from those moments at the edge, even though it means navigating life alone at times.
