Lucas Yu, born in Hong Kong, is a high school independent photographer and videographer based in Marion, Massachusetts.

“Born in Hong Kong, a melting pot of history and culture, I was intrigued by the diverse world around me. Hong Kong is an extremely diversified environment, where people of different backgrounds meet and convene; and this city has taught me to embrace differences, shaping my perspective. Growing up, I have traveled to 16 countries, across 3 continents, and I have also spent over three years abroad studying. The experience has not only gifted me with diverse perspectives, it also made me think about how I can contribute to making this world more connected. With my artistic vision, I want to further the connection between people. Through my photography and videos, I have captured moments unnoticed from our day-to-day lives, and I want to evoke the shared perspectives and values between you and me.”
